Home favorite Christian Reitz of Germany took silver, while Pu Qifeng of the People’s Republic of China claimed the bronze medal.

The ISSF President Olegario Vazquez Raña participated in the opening ceremony of the venue, that is fully equipped for the practice of twelve shooting disciplines, including all Olympic shooting events. The 35-year-old shooter signed a commanding victory in the women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions event, closing the match with a 5.0-point gap on silver medal winner Jiang Ting of the People’s Republic of China. 18-year-old Wang Zeru — also of the People’s Republic of China — took bronze.

The 2016 Olympic bronze medalist climbed on the highest step of the World Cup podium for the third time in her career, winning the women’s 10m Air Pistol event and finishing 3.6 points ahead of Serbia’s Zorana Arunovic, who then secured the silver medal. Thailand’s Pim-On Klaisuban completed the podium in 3rd place.
